Ɋ is the capital form of ɋ, the lowercase q with a hook tail. It was introduced by Lutheran missionaries in Papua New Guinea for the alphabets of local languages, and it sits in the Latin Extended-B block at code point U+024A. It is a precomposed character, one code point rather than a Q plus a combining mark. - In Microsoft Word, type the hexadecimal code point — 024A for Ɋ.
