ɓ is the lowercase b with a hook extending from its top. It is the International Phonetic Alphabet symbol for a voiced bilabial implosive, a b-like sound made with an inward airflow. It also appears in the orthographies of African languages such as Hausa. Its uppercase form is Ɓ, and it sits in the IPA Extensions block at U+0253.
