Đ is the capital D with a short horizontal stroke through its stem. It is a letter of the Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian Latin alphabets, where it stands for a soft "dj"-like sound, and it is also used in Vietnamese. Đ is not printed on most English keyboards, but every device hides a shortcut for it. Pick your platform:
Windows
- In Microsoft Word, type the hexadecimal code point — 0110 for Đ.
- Press Alt+X: the code converts into the character in place.
