p dot above

Latin Small Letter P with Dot Above · U+1E57

ṗ is the lowercase p with a dot above, at code point U+1E57 in the Latin Extended Additional block. In traditional Irish Gaelic type this dot, called the ponc séimhithe or lenition dot, shows that the consonant is lenited, so ṗ stands for the same sound modern Irish writes as "ph". Its capital form is Ṗ (U+1E56). Click the tile to copy ṗ, then paste it anywhere with Ctrl+V (Windows), Cmd+V (Mac) or a long-press → Paste on a phone.
