ŀ is the lowercase l with a middle dot, encoded for the Catalan ela geminada, the l·l combination that shows two l sounds pronounced in separate syllables. It is a precomposed character with the code point U+0140 in the Latin Extended-A block. Its uppercase form is Ŀ.
