Latin Small Letter T with Cedilla · U+0163
ţ is the small letter t with a cedilla, the hook-shaped mark beneath it. It appears in older Romanian texts and legacy encodings in place of the correct Romanian letter, which uses a comma below instead. Unicode encodes it as the precomposed character U+0163, with Ţ (U+0162) as its capital form. ţ is not printed on most English keyboards, but every device hides a shortcut for it. Pick your platform:
Windows
- In Microsoft Word, type the hexadecimal code point — 0163 for ţ.
- Press Alt+X: the code converts into the character in place.
