ẁ is the small letter w with a grave accent, officially Latin Small Letter W with Grave, code point U+1E81. Welsh treats w as a vowel, and the grave accent marks it as anomalously short in a handful of words, often ones borrowed from English. The grave is the rarest of the Welsh accents.
