Ŵ is the capital letter W with a circumflex accent, officially Latin Capital Letter W with Circumflex, code point U+0174. Welsh treats W as a vowel, and the circumflex — the to bach, or "little roof" — lengthens it, so Ŵ appears at the start of capitalized Welsh words and names. Its small form is ŵ (U+0175).
