Latin Capital Letter A with Circumflex · U+00C2
 is the capital letter A with a circumflex accent, the uppercase form of â. It appears in French and Portuguese words and in Romanian, where capital  stands for the same central vowel as Î.  is not printed on most English keyboards, but every device hides a shortcut for it. Pick your platform:
Windows
- Turn on Num Lock so the numeric keypad produces digits.
- Hold Alt, type 0194 on the numeric keypad, then release Alt — Â appears at the cursor.

Mac
- Press the Option combination for the accent — a highlighted accent mark appears, waiting.
- Type Shift+A; the two combine into Â.

iPhone & Android
- Tap Shift first, then press and hold the a key on the on-screen keyboard.

Tip: The pop-up row comes from the letter’s long-press menu on the iPhone’s English (US) keyboard (iOS 17+); Gboard and other Android keyboards offer similar menus, though the exact set varies.
