ẓ is the lowercase z with a dot below. Its best-known job is in scholarly transliteration of Arabic, where it represents the emphatic letter Ẓāʾ (ظ), and it also appears in the Berber Latin alphabet. It is a precomposed character at U+1E93 in the Latin Extended Additional block, with capital form Ẓ.
