Ỷ is the capital Y with a hook above, a small curling mark over the letter. Vietnamese writes its six tones as diacritics on vowels, and the hook above marks the hỏi (dipping) tone, so Ỷ is the dipping-tone form of a capital Y. Its lowercase form is ỷ (U+1EF7).
