Latin Small Letter Y with Macron · U+0233
ȳ is the lowercase y with a macron, the flat bar above the letter that conventionally marks a long vowel. It lives in the Latin Extended-B block at U+0233 and is a precomposed character, a single code point rather than a y plus a combining mark. Its capital form is Ȳ (U+0232).
