Ȳ is the capital Y with a macron, the flat bar above the letter that conventionally marks a long vowel. It lives in the Latin Extended-B block at U+0232 and is a precomposed character, a single code point rather than a Y plus a combining mark. Its lowercase form is ȳ (U+0233).
