y hook above

Latin Small Letter Y with Hook Above · U+1EF7

ỷ is the lowercase y with a hook above, a small curling mark over the letter. Vietnamese writes its six tones as diacritics on vowels, and the hook above marks the hỏi (dipping) tone, so ỷ is the dipping-tone form of the vowel y. Its capital form is Ỷ (U+1EF6). Click the tile to copy ỷ, then paste it anywhere with Ctrl+V (Windows), Cmd+V (Mac) or a long-press → Paste on a phone.
