Latin Capital Letter U Bar · U+0244
Ʉ is the capital U with a vertical bar through it. It is the uppercase partner of the IPA letter ʉ, which stands for a close central rounded vowel — a u-like sound made in the middle of the mouth. It sits in the Latin Extended-B block at U+0244, and its lowercase form is ʉ (U+0289). - In Microsoft Word, type the hexadecimal code point — 0244 for Ʉ.
