Latin Capital Letter I with Dot Below · U+1ECA
Ị is the capital i with a dot placed below it rather than above. Vietnamese uses that dot to write the nặng tone, the short, heavy tone among the six tones of the language. It is a single precomposed character in the Latin Extended Additional block at U+1ECA. Its lowercase form is ị (U+1ECB).
