Ő is the capital O with a double acute accent, a letter of the Hungarian alphabet and the uppercase form of ő (U+0151). The two slanted strokes mark the long counterpart of Ö, making it a distinct Hungarian vowel in its own right. It appears at the start of sentences and in all-capitals text.
