Ò is the capital O with a grave accent, the uppercase form of ò (U+00F2). It carries the same roles: a stressed final o in Italian words like però, the huyền (falling) tone on o in Vietnamese, and the Mandarin fourth tone in Hanyu Pinyin. How to type Ò
Ò is not printed on most English keyboards, but every device hides a shortcut for it. Pick your platform:
Windows
- Turn on Num Lock so the numeric keypad produces digits.
- Hold Alt, type 0210 on the numeric keypad, then release Alt — Ò appears at the cursor.
