O slash
Latin Capital Letter O with Stroke · U+00D8
Ø is the capital form of ø (U+00F8), a distinct letter of the Danish and Norwegian alphabets rather than a decorated o. It stands for a rounded front vowel, as in Danish Øresund, and sorts near the end of the alphabet between Æ and Å. It appears at the start of sentences and in all-capitals text. Click the tile to copy Ø, then paste it anywhere with Ctrl+V (Windows), Cmd+V (Mac) or a long-press → Paste on a phone.
