Latin Small Letter U with Breve · U+016D
ŭ is the small letter u with a breve. It is part of the Esperanto alphabet, where it works as a u-like semivowel closing a diphthong, as in aŭ. It is a precomposed character in the Latin Extended-A block at U+016D, and its capital form is Ŭ (U+016C).
