Latin Small Letter U with Ogonek · U+0173
ų is the small letter u with an ogonek, the little hook below the letter. Lithuanian uses it for a long vowel that was historically nasal, alongside ą, ę and į. It is a precomposed character in the Latin Extended-A block at U+0173, and its capital form is Ų (U+0172). Windows
- In Microsoft Word, type the hexadecimal code point — 0173 for ų.
- Press Alt+X: the code converts into the character in place.
