Ĭ is the capital i with a breve, the short curved mark above it that signals a short vowel. It belongs to the Latin Extended-A block at U+012C and is a single precomposed character rather than an I plus a combining mark. Its lowercase form is ĭ (U+012D). - In Microsoft Word, type the hexadecimal code point — 012C for Ĭ.
